The “Blade Runner” sequel has been trying to get off the ground for a while. With Ridley Scott returning to the directing chair, and them planning to go the direction of “Prometheus”, with some connection to the first film, not all hope is lost on this being a good movie. But hope is lost on having Harrison Ford in there at any capacity. In a recent interview with the heads of Alcon Entertainment, this was said:

“It is absolutely patently false that there has been any discussion about Harrison Ford being in Blade Runner. To be clear, what we are trying to do with Ridley now is go through the painstaking process of trying to break the back of the story, figure out the direction we’re going to take the movie and find a writer to work on it. The casting of the movie could not be further from our minds at this moment.”

All I can think is, they better get a freaking awesome actor for this flick… How bout Ridley re-teams with Fassbender!? That’d be AWESOME!!!
